I can't believe it's been 50 years! Are we really that old? I'm retired from real estate loans; but keep busy with genealogy, reading, water aerobics, church, community service, an occasional class at WWCC, the adult literacy program, and of course my family (4 children and 15 grandchildren.) Son, Alan is a physical therapist; daughter, Cathy teaches in Paraguay; daughter, Lynne home schools her children; and daughter, Rebecca is a realtor. I have a done a little traveling - Hawaii, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and across the US a few times. I would like to do more, especially a trip to Paraguay. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again. |

Spouse: Jan Children: 2 Sons & 1 Daughter Grandchildren: 3 Grandsons & 4 Granddaughters Activities/Hobbies: Golf, Fishing, & Drinking good wine Hello from Buddy to our Wa-hi class of 59. I'll bring you up to date after 50 years have passed. After graduation I spent one quarter at CBC and then dropped out and went to work at the then Channel 22 TV station which failed after one year on the air; my fault? I then went to San Diego and worked in a TV station there for about 6 months. I returned to WW and reenrolled at CBC for 2 yrs. and then on to Central Wash. where I graduated in '66 with a BA in Ed. I also married during that time.  I then taught for 2 years in Beaverton, Or. I returned to Central in 68 and received my M ED in Sch. Admin. and became a principal in Kettle Falls, Wa. I left there in 73 and took a position as an elem. principal in Walla Walla for 23 years, retiring in 1966. With my first wife, Kathy, we had a son, John (nearing 42) and daughter Jennifer, (nearing 38). We divorced in 74 and I remarried in 75 to Janet, celebrating our 34th this May. Jan has a son Jeff, nearing 41. All three live on the west side from Seattle to Olympia. After her retirement in 2000, we moved to Kauai, Hawaii and were there until selling our condo in Feb. of 2006, returning to WW in Mar. of that year. We purchased a new home in WW last June and are really enjoying it. I'm really looking forward to our reunion and seeing old friends and reestablishing contacts with our classmates. Best wishes to all and may you have a safe journey to our 50th. Sincerely, Buddy  (PS, my correct email address is: heimbj1@msn.com - note the #1) |
