My first husband, Bob Alliston, died in 1979, and I remarried in 1981 to another Boeing engineer, Pete Beaupain. Between us we have 6 children and 6 grandchildren including two adopted from Russia. Pete flunked his first retirement and has been back working as a contract engineer for the last 4 years. He was working on the Dreamliner but moved over to another program working on planes that actually get off the ground. I worked for a number of years managing a media library for the Puget Sound ESD (those of you in education will know what that is). Our library closed down not long after the demise of the old 16mm film and invention of DVD. My last employment was at Green River Community College as a reference librarian, a job I really loved. We had kids from all over the world and I was never bored. For the last month I've been nurse and chauffer for my husband during his recovery from double knee replacement. Yes, both knees at once. But he's so obssessive about work he clocked 30 hours from home in the first two weeks after surgery! My current activity centers around my church and my gym where I'm working out 5 days a week trying to keep arthritis and old age from winning. Hope you all have a good time together. I've really enjoyed reading all your bios. |

Children: 2 SonsGrandchildren: 3 Grandsons & 2 Granddaughters After graduation I worked for Walla Walla Federal Savings and Loan for a few years. In 1960 I married Doug Gwinn. In 1963 our beautiful son, Todd, was born and in 1966 my other doll, Scott, joined our family. In 1968 we moved to Hoquiam, WA for job reasons, and after living in Tacoma for four years we moved back to Hoquiam, and here I have stayed for all of these years. Doug and I divorced in the 80’s.
I am blessed to have my sons and families live in the same town as I do, so that I can grow old with my grandchildren around me. They range in age from 12 to 20 - three boys and two girls, plus I have two wonderful daughter-in-laws and they love my sons, which makes me happier than I can tell you.
I have worked various places throughout my life and am still working as a mortgage loan officer for a Credit Union. My health is good. I have my own home and a wealth of friends. What more can I ask for? Life is good and meant to be enjoyed. This sums up my life: walk to the edge, dance every day, laugh until it hurts….and love often.
I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you at our reunion.
